Roberto Fasciani, born in 1979,starts playing at the age of 15. At the age of 19 he attends UM music school and in 2000 the Percentomusica school, studying with bass masters as M. Moriconi, G. Gullotto, L. Pirozzi, M. Siniscalco, A. Avena and C. Zaratti; graduating in 2004.
In 2000 he records an album for metal/progressive band HYDRA with R.Pirami and plays with Y.Malmsteen tribute band ; started the Dunwich project for the making of 4' album and records the Steel Seal demo . In 2003 plays with M. Boco and M. Hedberg in the BFH trio; played with JS (J.Satriani ) and Aenima (Tool) tribute bands. In 2004 he played all around Italy with the National Orchestra and in 2005 with Italian master composer F.Frizzi and his Octopus Orchestra for the New Year's Eve TV program on RAI International television. He was finalist at the European Bass Day 2005 bass player contest in Verona ; played with Italian band Novembre , and toured all across Europe in april/may 2006 as a supporting act for swedish band Katatonia along with many festivals. He also worked with Echoes of Sound and M.Conidi and with many other bands , playing all music styles from rock to jazz.
Currently he plays with Dunwich, with R. Pirami (drums) and A. Pietrosanti (guitar) in the AIIR trio and in a rock band. He teaches at the Artidee , Octopus and Armonie Musicali music schools in Rome and also as a private teacher.
